Our Puppies and the Adoption Process

All of our puppies are sold on AKC "limited" registration with a **delayed spay/neuter contract unless otherwise discussed and are all the same price regardless of color, gender, or intended purpose. All puppies will have natural tails and dew claws. We hold our puppies until 9 weeks of age. 

** 12 to 24 months of age for females and 18 to 34 months of age for males

AKC registration with breeding rights is available to approved individuals/programs on a co-own show/performance contract. Our co-owners will work towards a UKC CH title + 4 performance titles or a UKC GRCH title + 2 performance titles. These puppies must also be tested to OFA CHIC or above before breeding. Any dog that leaves us with full registration will be co-owned for a specified length of time or until sterilization. 

Well-Adjusted Poodles

We are committed to raising well-adjusted puppies. We take videos and/or pictures of our puppies that are posted to our Facebook, Instagram and/or website at least EVERY WEEK until they go home. Puppies are raised with ENS (Early Neurologic Stimulation), ESI (Early Scent Introduction), and Puppy Culture protocols with lots of early exposure. 

Potty training starts at 3 weeks old. We start with potty pads and then progress to litter boxes and then trips out to the yard. 

Crate and leash training start at 6 weeks old. 

Grooming is a significant part of any poodle's life so we like to make sure they are prepared. We promise:

Nail trims - weekly starting at 1 week old

Face, feet, tail, sanitary shaves - every 1 - 2 weeks starting at 2.5 weeks old

Baths and blow-outs - every 1 - 2 weeks starting at about 4 weeks old

***We suggest having your poodle's nails trimmed every 2 weeks and not going any longer than 6 weeks between professional grooming appointments.***

Veterinary Care

Deworming at least every 2 weeks starting at 2 weeks old. 

To protect our puppies during all of their early experiences, we vaccinate for parvo virus at around 5.5 - 6 weeks old. Puppies are examined by a licensed veterinarian and vaccinated for Dhpp (distemper, hepatitis, parainfluenza, and parvo) at 7.5 - 8 weeks old. A fecal is also performed.

Our Waiting List

A non-refundable $500 fee is required to hold a spot on our waiting list. Once the puppies are approximately 8 weeks old and temperament/structural evaluations have been completed, placements will begin. Each adopter will have up to 24 hours to notify us of their decision. Afterwards, any remaining puppies can be reserved for a non-refundable $500 fee by any person approved for adoption that is not on the waiting list who we feel is a suitable match for the puppy. This fee goes toward the final purchase price of the puppy. 

The $500 fee is non-refundable but can be transferred once to the next available litter.

Shipping and Transport

We can drive up to 1.5 hours to meet for pick-up without an additional fee. Some families are able to travel to us for puppy pick-up but others require assistance to get their puppy to them. Families are responsible for coordinating and purchasing a transport service. They are also responsible for any additional fees such as additional vet exams, vaccinations, or health certificates needed for travel. Flight nanny services are recommended. Ground transport is also an option. We prefer not to ship puppies via airline cargo. Families can also fly into a major airport (Lehigh Valley, Newark, Philadelphia) where we can hand-off the puppy for you to take home as a carry-on. All puppies must be picked-up or transported between 9 and 10 weeks of age.
